Since our Travel Expenses module is integrated with an external partner, the display of users isn't automatic but intentional. Only users who actively access the module (e.g., by clicking “Travel Expenses” once) are synced with the system. This keeps everything tidy and gives you full control over who gets full admin access. However, full synchronization is still possible if needed. Below you'll find more details and helpful tips:
Syncing employees:
As soon as an employee clicks on the “Travel Expenses” tab, they are automatically synced with the module and will appear in the employee list in the admin view. Users who haven’t opened the tab yet won’t show up there – but they can still be included in billing unless they are on the exclusion list.
What is the exclusion list?
The exclusion list in absence.io (found under Settings → Expenses → Access Management) explicitly excludes selected users from being billed for the Expenses module.

Anyone not on the list will be included in billing — regardless of whether they are visible in the Admin user list or not.
Adding admin roles:
The person who first activates the Travel Expenses module is automatically assigned as an administrator for this module.
If you want other absence.io admins to also have access and act as Travel Expenses admins, you can easily add them:
Go to the “Users” section, click the three dots next to the desired person → “Edit” → and activate the “Administrator” toggle.
